Dr. Amy Chen is a registered acupuncturist and TCM practitioner. Amy is always passionate about improving clinical skills and constantly challenges herself to better help patients. She got her master’s degree in acupuncture from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.  Before moving to Sydney, Amy studied and worked in Guang An Men Hospital, and the China Acadamy of Chinese Medicine Science, Beijing, which is the top TCM hospital in China and was rewarded a Ph.D. of integrated Medicine in 2016 and then moved to Sydney where she continued to work as a TCM practitioner and acupuncturist.

With over 14 years of practicing, Amy has extensive experience and interests in using hybrid methods including herbal medicine, acupuncture for helping manage symptoms associated with conditions involving cardiovascular diseases, mental disorders, skin problems, women’s health, immune disorders, and more.  Amy is always keen to provide her knowledge and care with the best possible support to help recovery and healing.

Qualification

  • Ph.D. (Integrated Medicine), Beijing University of CM
  • Master of Medicine (Acupuncture), Beijing University of CM
  • Registered under the national registration and accreditation scheme with the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (AHPRA) – No. CMR0002202125 (Chinese Herbal Medicine Practitioner, Acupuncturist, and Chinese Herbal Dispenser)
